Congratulations to our big WYOMING CUTT-SLAM Bamboo Rod! Gregg Bierei, a longtime Trout Unlimited member from Cody, Wyoming, was selected as the winner of the hand-crafted bamboo rod that commemorates the Wyoming Cutt-Slam Challenge sponsored by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

Washington rod make Steve Foisie handcrafted a beautiful 7’6” 5 wt. bamboo rod to honor the Wyoming Cutt-Slam-Slam Challenge! This unique rod comes with two matching rod tips, rod sock and an incredible 12-sided rod tube constructed of walnut. In addition to having Steve’s name and serial number on the rod, he has named the rod “THE WYOMING CUTT-SLAM.” The value of this one-of-a-kind bamboo rod is $2,000.00. Thanks so much to Steve for his donation. It is most appreciated.

When Gregg found out he won the rod, he simply said “I never win anything. Thanks for picking me.”
